Henry Loman

Henry Loman began his minor league baseball career with Asheville in the Piedmont League in 1936. A journeyman minor leaguer, he played for seven teams over the next five years and was with Lynchburg in 1943 when he entered military service in April.

Stationed in England, Loman was with the 1945 all-star team that played at Stamford Bridge Stadium.

Loman returned to professional baseball after the war and was player-manager with North Wilkesboro in the Blue Ridge League in 1948 and 1949.
